Thousands of name ideas. Only check the ones you like
Describe your product in a sentence or two. AI pulls out the keywords, prefixes, suffixes and industry words, invents brandable names, and combines them into thousands of candidates. Pick your favorites, choose your TLDs and run them through one bulk availability check.
From a description to names you can register
A generation is a background job that usually finishes in well under a minute. Checking availability is a separate step, so you only pay to check the names you actually want.
Describe what you are naming
The product, the audience and the tone, in up to 1,000 characters. Optionally pick a category (twenty to choose from), a style such as Short & punchy or Abstract / Invented, and a maximum length.
AI gathers the ingredients
An OpenAI model extracts keywords from your description and adds short prefixes, suffixes and industry words, plus standalone invented names, all tailored to your category and style.
Thousands of combinations
The ingredients are combined in eight patterns, like keyword plus suffix or prefix plus keyword. Only letters-only names of 3 characters up to your maximum length are kept, duplicates are removed and offensive words are filtered out.
Browse and shortlist
Search the results (regular expressions work too), filter by length, sort shortest first and click the names you like to select them.
Check across your TLDs
Check the selection or the whole job. Every name is combined with every TLD you choose and runs as a normal bulk check, with a cost estimate before it starts and live results after.
Built for real naming work
Generation and checking are separate on purpose: brainstorm wide, then spend availability checks only on a shortlist.
Three amounts
Small gives roughly five thousand names, Medium tens of thousands, Large a hundred thousand or more. The form shows the estimate for your max length before you generate.
Category and style
Steer the tone with one of twenty categories, from Tech / SaaS to Consulting / Agency, and a style like Minimalist, Playful / Fun or Technical / Dev-friendly.
Your length limit
Set a maximum from 3 to 30 characters (12 by default). Shorter limits give fewer, punchier names.
TLDs when you check
Generated names are bare words, so one generation can be checked against .com today and .io next week without generating again.
Kept until you delete it
Jobs and their names stay in your account until you delete them. Domains drop and free up all the time, so a good batch is worth checking again later.
Straight to your watchlist
Available domains show up in the bulk check's results, where you can filter to Available and star the winners into Saved domains.
Who it is built for
Founders
Go from "we need a name" to a shortlist of names with free domains in one sitting, instead of guessing one domain at a time at a registrar.
Agencies
Run a generation per client brief, keep each job for later and re-check the shortlist whenever the client circles back. Every client's work can live in its own organization.
Brand teams
Explore names for a new product or campaign, then check the shortlist across all the TLDs you would want to own in one bulk check.
Your first shortlist in five minutes
Generate small, scan the results, refine the description, and only then generate big or check availability.
Start a new generation
In DomainRadar, open Name Generator and click New Generation.
Describe the project
Write what you are naming, who it is for and the feel you want. Specifics beat generalities: "a cloud-based coffee subscription service for remote workers" works better than "coffee".
Set category, style and length
Pick a category and style if they help, set the max length (6 to 9 characters gives punchy names) and choose the amount. Start with Small.
Generate and shortlist
Click Generate Names. When the job completes, search, filter by length and click the names you like to select them.
Check availability
Open Check Availability, choose Check selected or Check all, pick your TLDs and a check mode, and start the bulk check. Register the free ones at your registrar.
10 generations free. Then 25 cents each
Generation is billed per job, however many names it produces. Checking availability is a normal bulk check, billed at availability check rates with 500,000 free checks a month.
Each job takes one description and generates thousands to hundreds of thousands of bare name candidates. Checking them across TLDs is billed separately at availability check rates.
